Who are we?

Ecotox is an independent contract research company specialising in the fate and effects of substances in the environment.  Our highly motivated, experienced team of scientists and support staff are flexible and dynamic, able to respond rapidly to requests for complex, in-depth environmental studies throughout Europe.  Expert team leaders are supported by enthusiastic and well qualified study directors and technical assistants.  Within Ecotox there is an on-going commitment to staff development, training and the acquisition of new skills.  Our scientists contribute to the development of methodology, make presentations at conferences and are up-to-date with recent and topical scientific developments.

Ecotox was founded in 1989 and has worked in full compliance with Good Laboratory Practice from the outset.  The team has many years experience in the design and conduct of laboratory and field studies to meet the appropriate regulatory and quality standards.  We have organised and managed many multi-site and multi-national studies, in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Denmark, often working in collaboration with other organisations with complementary skills to our own.
